The San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield Association entails a museum which and collects and displays artifacts of Texas history, including the Battle of San Jacinto. The museum in in the floor level of the San Jacinto Monument. The monument itself serves as a reminder of the lives lost in pursuit of the freedoms we enjoy today. The Battlefield is preserved and maintained as close to 1836 (time of battle) as possible. The San Jacinto Park is spread throughout the Battlefield where blood, sweat and tears were shed to ensure Texas was a free state. We provide educational events, lectures, and field trips for thousands of school children/groups.
