SUPERGirls SHINE Foundation

We are problem-solvers and community engagers committed to IMPACT and change through empowerment, equity, and STEM initiatives.  SUPERGirls SHINE Foundation was created to fulfill a necessary need by providing underrepresented and underprivileged girls and women opportunities to flourish in fields that have been predominantly held by white men in STEM & Innovation careers. The ability to transform their lives for the better by exposure plus access with tangible opportunity in STEM, Innovation & Leadership initiatives is our secret weapon. Once a girl/woman realizes and believes she is not disadvantaged, she can no longer be taken advantage of. 

Because the challenges that girls of color face are different from other groups of children, our organization tackles those obstacles by providing equity for these young women.  

We work towards helping girls aspire STEM professions by assisting them with hands-on experiences, leadHERship skill building sessions, and resources needed to escape the trappings of inequality, such as poverty, gender, and race discrimination to end such a troubling cycle.

We are not only helping young women improve in science and mathematics; we are assisting young women in obtaining social skills and capital to navigate these spaces once reserved for a more privileged group of individuals.

We provide empowerment and equity solutions to closing the gaps for more women and girls of color in STEM, Innovation and Leadership initiatives through exposure plus access with tangible opportunities for girls 10-17 in underserved and underrepresented communities.
