Who We Are
Founded in 1976, by a group of parents of children with autism, Avondale House began in a house on Avondale Street in Montrose. Since our founding, Avondale House's focus has been on individuals with autism the resources, education, and training to develop to their fullest potential.
What We Do
Avondale House provides vital programs and services that support individuals with autism and their families who love them. Services include a TEA approved non-public school for students ages 3-21, long-term residential services, supported employment opportunities, and adult day programming.
