Houston Furniture Bank helps furnish homes for families rebuilding after homelessness, disaster, crisis, and other difficult circumstances. Right now, additional hands are urgently needed to help keep furniture moving through the warehouse and out to families. Volunteer DutiesVolunteers may assist with: Moving and organizing furnitureLoading and unloading donated itemsPreparing furniture for distributionSorting and staging household goodsKeeping warehouse areas organized and safeAssisting warehouse staff with other general support needsSome assignments may involve lifting and physical activity.
