Volunteer: Financial Literacy Teacher/Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity: Financial Literacy Instructor

Are you passionate about helping others gain control of their finances and build a brighter future? We’re looking for a dedicated volunteer financial literacy teacher to lead engaging, beginner-friendly classes for adult learners. As a volunteer instructor, you’ll help students understand the fundamentals of personal finance—including budgeting, saving, credit, and money management—while empowering them to make informed financial decisions.

Responsibilities: Teach basic financial literacy concepts in an accessible, supportive way.   Develop or adapt lesson materials to meet the needs of adult learners. Encourage discussion and real-world application of financial skills. Inspire confidence and promote lifelong learning.

Qualifications: Background or experience in finance, accounting, education, or a related field (preferred).   Strong communication and teaching skills,   Patience, and enthusiasm for working with diverse adult learners.

Time Commitment: Flexible schedule—classes may be offered weekly or biweekly, depending on volunteer availability. If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference by helping others achieve financial independence, we’d love to hear from you!
