Volunteer: Volunteer Groups up to 8: help serve food at our permanent supportive housing facility, an alternative to homelessness

Groups up to 8, donate meals and distribute them at RoseMary's Place in Midtown Houston.

This is our long-term supportive housing facility for 149 residents for an alternative to the streets. It's a fresh start and a safe environment for those in need, providing dignified housing for the population dealing with homelessness. There is no central kitchen or meal service there. Food insecurity is a major issue so volunteers can have a huge impact.

  


RoseMary’s Place: Our new permanent supportive housing facility for 149 residents for an alternative to the streets. It's a fresh start and a supportive environment for those in need, dedicated to providing dignified housing solutions for our homeless population.

We usually see 30-40 residents participate.The food needs to be packed to-go, although some residents may stay to chat and eat there in the common area. It can be a simple breakfast, a bag lunch, or a hearty meal. That's up to you. Just let us know what to expect.We suggest choosing an hour to serve, 9 am, Noon, or 3 pm.Volunteer food servers should cover their hair with a hat or hair net.Weekday meals are always needed.We need all adults attending to register on our website and accept our waivers.
