Founded in March 2017, the Volunteer Services department of Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital works collaboratively with our staff to provide extraordinary experiences for our patients and families.

Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital Volunteers are an integral part of the team and receive recognition for their service. Volunteers enjoy a complimentary meal for volunteering, free parking and free immunizations. Volunteering is as rewarding to the volunteer as it is beneficial to the patients, families, visitors, and staff. Connecting your compassion with our patients' needs can positively impact their health care experience while positively impacting you as well.  The Adult Volunteer Program is our year-round program for adults over the age of 18. This program is best suited for long-term volunteers who want to serve the hospital and its patients.  Volunteers enjoy a complimentary meal for volunteering, free parking and free immunizations.

We do not offer the following opportunities in the Adult program: Summer only or short term positions, Shadowing, Seasonal, Internships, Clinical hours

At Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, our unique volunteer program offers you the opportunity to explore new directions, develop skills, make friends, and have fun! Students, professionals, retirees - everyone finds satisfaction in helping others.  We are currently seeking service minded adults to transport our patients, staff, and visitors to and from the hospital parking lots.  This position is very social and supportive.  Drivers often put passengers at ease as they attend an appointment or visit a patient.  We ask that volunteers commit to one shift per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 11:45 am or 11:45 am to 4 pm. Applicants must complete an application and interview, as well as a background and driving record check, orientation and 30-minute training session.  Volunteers enjoy a complimentary meal for volunteering, free parking, and free vaccinations.
