Would you like the opportunity to help others and give back to your community? Have you ever thought about volunteering for a Hospice? Did you know that volunteers are the heart and soul of Hospice care? As a Hospice Volunteer, you will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to benefiting patients and their families during a difficult time in their lives.

Looking to brighten the day of someone who is very special to us? Well come and show off your amazing skills on some of our patients and their loving family members. Here at harbor we work hard to ensure our patients and loved ones have access to resources that will to provide comfort and happiness.

As part of our volunteer department you will be putting your cosmetology license to good use by gifting our patient's, or their hard working caregivers, with a haircut, manicure, or professional styling. This awesome gift you will give will help someone who is battling terminal illness, who in some cases, are not able to go into a salon, or does not necessarily have the resources to enjoy the luxury of a salon experience.

At Harbor Hospice, we are dedicated to honoring the men and women who have fought for our freedom. There are many historic stories within the hearts of our patients. However, most of the time, the only person that a veteran will open up to is another veteran. Those of you who have walked in similar shoes, trained, fought in war, and experienced life inside and out of the military. We hope you will consider making a difference in the lives of our veterans. As a volunteer in our maintenance program you will help Harbor Hospice with fixing minor issue to our patients homes as needed! This is a very important role here at Harbor Hospice! As a volunteer in our hospitality program you will help Harbor Hospice with basic housekeeping needs for our patients. This is a very important role here at Harbor Hospice! As a volunteer in our auto mechanic program you will help Harbor Hospice with doing minor auto repairs and/or oil changes and tunes ups! This is a very important role here at Harbor Hospice! Our patients really love all of our auto mechanic volunteers! If you want to be an integral part of our mission, and want to build relationships that make a difference, come join us!

As a volunteer in our music program you will help Harbor Hospice with playing music, and or singing to the patients! This is a very important role here at Harbor Hospice! Our patients really love all of our musician volunteers! If you want to be an integral part of our mission, and want to build relationships that make a difference, come join us!

As part of our spiritual support team you will help Harbor Hospice with our patient and care giver bereavement, this can include praying with the patient, sitting with them and reading the bible or just be a listening ear, you can assist in the office with mailing out bereavement letters, or checking on past patients! This is a very important role here at Harbor Hospice! If you want to be an integral part of our mission, and want to build relationships that make a difference, come join us!

As a volunteer in our hospitality program you will help Harbor Hospice with delivering supplies, groceries, and other necessary items! This is a very important role here at Harbor Hospice! As a birthday celebration volunteer you will help Harbor Hospice with creating gifts, cards, or food and/or delivering those things to our patients on their birthday! The tuck in caller would call our patients on Wednesday or Thursdays and determine if there is any need for supplies to be dropped off before the weekend.
