Location: Montgomery County and surrounding areas
Purpose This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. The Recovery Services Client Care Program allows the Red Cross to rapidly meet disaster-caused needs by enabling clients to apply and receive financial assistance and/or community resources. The Client Care Program Service Associate supports the recovery of disaster affected individuals, households, and communities by providing referrals, advocacy, and financial assistance through RC Care (case management system).
Responsibilities:
Conduct Intake by interviewing the client and opening a case in RC Care
Provide Financial Assistance to qualified clients.
Conduct Follow-up and Recovery Planning Services
Provide Internal Referrals
Provide Community Referrals
Assist with problem-solving and advocacy on request

Your role will be to carry a training aid through any area where Passenger Screening Canine is being conducted. The TSA canines are classified as passive response canines, meaning their actions are passively controlled and non-aggressive. You will need to wear loose fitting clothing and bring a small carry-on type piece of luggage. For example, roller bag, backpack, laptop bag, etc. You can also actually be traveling the day of your assignment. Just give us at least 48 hours advance notice so we can add you on the schedule. You must not have allergies to the following items; dogs, cotton, wool, latex, or adhesive strips as these items may be used as a part of the exercise. Please make sure that you are not afraid of dogs. Volunteer: Bird Feeder HANGERS now NeededWith the great response we have had to people building bird feeders for our Hospice patients, we are now needing some hangers to place in yards to put the feeders on. The majority of our patients do have trees in their yards that I can hang them on, however we have several that do not have trees outside of their window visible from their beds.

Basics can present Intermediate Level content, providing they are doing so as a co-instructor with an Intermediate or Expert level instructor. Key Responsibilities Complete the Basic Level Instructor certification course. Coordinate with SAF Regional Lead to plan trainings and presentations in the Instructor's region. Facilitate presentations to the interested individuals (those looking for an introduction to IHL or are curious how the American Red Cross works with IHL). After the presentation report attendance and responses by attendees within the IHL reporting system and to the SAF Regional Lead. Communicate as necessary with the NHQ IHL Team. Conduct self-study in IHL areas to deepen knowledge and skills. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications Have successfully completed the Basic Level Instructor course and been certified by the Director of NHQ IHL within 60 days of acceptance in the role. The Houston chapter Programming Team plans and facilitates weekly sessions with our participating high school students and their mentors. KEY FUNCTIONS

The individual's portfolio will be a mix of larger-capacity grant-making foundations and corporate foundations whose mission and strategic giving aligns with Harvey Nexus Strategy and activities.
The size and mix of the portfolio will be based on the needs of the team and the division's strategic focus over the period of the campaign.
Steward relationships with current and proposed institutional partners, guided by regular portfolio review and team-driven strategy for continued giving.
Participate and strategically outline activities, proposal preparation, strategy development and solicitation executed within a 12 - 24 month timeframe.
