In Honor of Martin Luther King Day, we will have a joint platoon service project at Hope Farms. We will need volunteers for the following projects:
1. Building Raised Bed Gardens
2. Painting (and potentially building shelving and other aspects) new
3. Culinary Classroom
4. Painting other areas of the Pole Barn
5. Shelving and other storage for parts of the Pole Barn
6. Building formal Compost Area
7. Planting Fruit Trees
8. Potential Public Art creation
9. Building/Mulching new production area
10. Fence and Tree Clearing
Please note that breakfast and registration will take place between 8:30 and 9 am. The event will commence promptly at 9 am. We look forward to honoring Dr. King and his legacy by making a great impact in the Sunnyside community. I hope to see you there!
