The Houston Public Library Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with our statue unveiling event.
The event will take place at the Julia Ideson Building located at 550 McKinney St. Houston, Tx 77002
The volunteer shift is 10 am- 1 pm.
We ask our volunteers to wear a white dress shirt/blouse/top and black slacks/bottoms and black shoes.
Food and water will provided to all volunteers
The volunteers will be assigned to one of the following: checking in guests, guiding guests to the plaza, guiding guests to their seats, passing out programs, keeping unveiling area clear until the program starts, moving step and repeat to reception area, moving signage to reception area, setting up favor/giveaway table, guiding guests to stairs or elevators for reception, guiding guests to reception area, help with break down of step and repeats.
