Houston Public Library Foundation (HPLF) will have a book sorting collaboration with the Astros Foundation at Minute Maid Park! The HPLF has received a large shipment of donated books and the Astros Foundation has graciously allowed us to store the books at the Park. We need several volunteers to sort the books into age groups tomorrow 11/11/2020 in preparation for a book distribution drive-thru on Giving Tuesday, December 1st. There will be another opportunity to volunteer in December.
Tomorrow, you will park in the Diamond Lot North located near Hamilton and Congress. A map will be provided to all volunteers once you register. Your name and email will be provided to the Astros. The Astros will send a survey to each volunteer. This form must be completed before you can enter Minute Maid Park tomorrow.
