Are you an experienced Event Volunteer? Enjoy the Literary Arts? Books? Reading? Volunteer for the Houston Public Library Foundation’s event benefit luncheon, Beyond the Page! Help to set-up the venue, greet guests, register arriving guests, breakdown at close of the event, and help guests get their books signed! We are looking for volunteers who possess attention to detail, strong organizational skills, are friendly and can work well in a team environment. Sound like you?
There are several volunteer opportunities for our luncheon. You may sign up for one or sign up for the duration. Opportunities begin at 9:00 a.m. and the luncheon starts at noon. Breakdown starts at 1:45 and there are other opportunities in between. It's going to be loads of fun and you'll have an opportunity to enjoy a great lunch and hear from our keynote speaker, Angie Thomas, author of "The Hate U Give" and "On the Come Up". Interested?
