On Wednesday, August 16th, from 2:30pm-5pm, IMGH will host a financial literacy class for Afghan families at our office (3303 Main St.). We anticipate many of these families will bring their young children with them. As I’m sure those of you with young children/nieces and nephews can understanding, having small children around is very distracting! We want these families to focus on the class and not worry about their children.
We need 2-3 volunteers who can occupy the children with arts and crafts, books, and possibly a movie while the parents participate in the financial literacy class. If you’re interested and available, please email CEVolunteer@imgh.org.
All volunteers will need to take a $10 background check and online anti child abuse training.
