For the next 8 weeks on Saturday mornings starting on June 10th, our Women's Empowerment Group will offer swim lessons to refugee women at the YMCA Trotter. We need volunteers to transport the women to and from their swim classes! Most women live in South West Houston and need to be driven YMCA Trotter (1331 Augusta Dr, Houston, TX 77057).
- Volunteers will pickup the women from their apartments by 8:15am.
- The women need to be at YMCA Trotter by 8:30am.
- The swim class is from 9am-9:30am.
- Volunteers will drive the women home around 10am.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with refugee women, engage in conversation, and introduce them to new music as you drive them to their classes!
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST SUBMIT A PHOTO OF THEIR DRIVERS LISCENSE AND AUTO INSRUANCE.
