VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
THIS FRIDAY + SATURDAY, Rebuilding Together Houston will be leading efforts to help Harvey flood victims clean out their homes in preparation for recovery, and we NEED help!
WHO: Volunteers, must be over the age of 15
WHAT: Remove damaged furniture, appliances and personal items AND remove damaged walls and floors
WHEN: Sign up to help on Friday or Saturday or Both days.
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Volunteers will meet at the Rebuilding Together Houston Warehouse,1215 Gazin, Houston 77020 (corner of Gazin and Larimer, entrance on Larimer). We will carpool to homes.
HOW/WHAT TO BRING: Individuals must be 15 or older to volunteer. Volunteers MUST wear appropriate clothing for VERY dirty work. Boots are recommended; closed-toe sturdy shoes are required. Bring any special dietary needs.
PERKS: RTH will provide all tools as well as protective eye wear, masks, and vinyl gloves. Volunteers will get FREE breakfast snacks, lunch, and water.
Registration: VOLUNTEERS MUST SIGN UP BY THURSDAY MORNING AT 10:00 so that we can get a count for food and equipment.
