You will be so proud to see the direct impact that your grant writing has on our children at TWST4Girls! TWST4Girls (TWST) is a Houston based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves girls ages 11-17, in underserved communities, juvenile correctional facilities, schools, and community centers.
We deliver life skills development programs, match our girls with dedicated mentors, provide monthly exposure to career options, as well as, intellectual and cultural experiences all at no cost to the youth that we serve!
Description:
Individuals will volunteer remotely with a personal computer for 20hrs/ month however are welcomed to join TWST during our events!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospective grant research and identification
- Grant writing and submission
- Grant-related data entry and administrative support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Basic grant writing experience
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Proactive work ethic, self-directed
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must have a personal computer and phone
