The ladies above are going to perform at our museum, however, we need your help to prepare this concert! Afterwards you are welcome to enjoy the music and have fun. We will meet at 4PM.
The Nightingale Trio is village harmonies birdsong lullabies, plum wine, and moonlit round dances. An emerging force on the global folk music scene, The Nightingale Trio is an all-woman vocal group devoted to studying and celebrating the rich women’s vocal traditions of Eastern Europe.
Combining their musical artistry with heartfelt, powerful storytelling in every song, the three women of the Nightingale Trio tell the stories behind the folk traditions, using humor and personality to lead audiences through a journey into women’s experiences.
They have performed for audiences ranging from Prince Aleksandr of Serbia and his spouse, Princess Katharine of Greece, to thousands of NPR listeners on “A Prairie Home Companion”, and will be traveling to Dublin this summer to compete in the annual International A Cappella Festival this summer.
This will be a great event and we will be excited if join it!
