Volunteers are needed to call patient who would like to talk.
We at Encompass are looking for compassionate, patience, understanding volunteers to spend time calling and talking to patients who want to talk. Volunteers would call from our offices and listen to people who want to talk to someone.
These patients are going through a difficult time and might want or need someone to listen to them. Their final days could be filled with laughter and conversation, history and stories, sadness and acceptance, with your help.
Our offices are in the Galleria and Woodlands area.
Due to the nature of hospice each volunteer will be required to go through required training to volunteer with patients. The process to become a volunteer takes a little bit but the rewards of giving your time to these patients is beyond measurable. You can give these people an ear to talk to and a person to contact with. Thank you.
