Getting food out to the community is a critical need during this time. We are very grateful for the help of our volunteers.
YMCA International Services is currently looking for volunteers to help in our warehouse, food pantry, and assist with picking up donations across the Houston area.
Responsibilities
Friday's 9am-12:30pm
Assist donations manager in acquiring, storing, and organizing all new donations given to YMCA International Services. Assist with giving out food to our refugee and immigrant clients. Help our clients fill out necessary documents and assist in keeping track of donated items. Transport donations to apartments so when the families arrive in Houston they have something they can call their own.
Requirements
Must be able to lift 30 pounds or more
Good attitude
A desire to help the refugee community
Dress for the weather and bring a mask
