Help us welcome visitors to the nature center and assist them with their needs!
We rely on ‘Welcome’ Volunteers to provide outstanding customer service to all visitors and to respond to inquiries by providing information and/or directing visitors to resources or staff members. Training is provided. We need ‘Welcome’ volunteers each afternoon and on the weekends.
The primary responsibility of the Front Desk Volunteer is to answer phone calls and welcome visitors to the nature center.
The Front Desk Volunteer will:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors
- Respond to inquiries by providing information and/or directing visitors to resources or staff members
- Answer phone calls: answer questions as able, take messages, and transfer to the appropriate staff member
