Once a quarter, Down Syndrome Association of Houston gives parents the opportunity to meet others at Coffee and Confidence. Coffee and Confidence is a gathering of parents who have a child that has been diagnosed with Down syndrome, ages 2 years or younger. At this meeting, families are able to share their different experiences on this incredible journey. In addition, we also provide families with valuable information on the diagnosis and different waivers that can help in their child's future.
We are looking for a few volunteers that can help us out with childcare on Saturday, September 7th at our DSAH Resource Center. As a volunteer, you will be asked to watch the children while their parents are in another room for the gathering.
Background checks ($9) are required for this opportunity.
If you are below the age of 18 and would like to volunteer, please contact us directly at volunteer@dsah.org.
If you are able to help us this day, please sign up. Feel free to message us with any questions or concerns.
We truly appreciate your time!
Thank You
