The Houston ToolBank is excited to announce that on March 23rd, 2024 we will be hosting our annual Tools For Change. With the support of our sponsors, we plan to build 20 picnic tables for our community. We distribute our tables to Title 1 schools or non-profits that are in need of outdoor space for their program.
Our event will be held at Spindletap Brewery, 10622 Hirsch Rd, Houston, TX 77016 from 10 am-5 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help support us during the event.
-Needs:
- event setup, starting at 10:00AM
- event teardown, from 4:30pm- 6 PM
- event support: selling raffle tickets, volunteer check-in, picnic table build support, kids build table support, support loading/unloading picnic tables, and other general needs.
We will have water and soft drinks available to all volunteers.
