The Houston Community ToolBank stewards an inventory of tools for use in the charitable sector. The ToolBank is serious about cost-sharing, so we use a small staff and rely heavily on volunteers to operate efficiently.
We are seeking an individual to serve as a regular or 1-time warehouse volunteer. Availability could vary, but ideally, the volunteer could be available once (or twice) every week or two weeks.
Tasks include:
- pulling tool orders for pickup
- putting away returned tools
- cleaning muddy tools
- repairing tools
- painting new tools
- & much more!
Requirements:
-Closed-toe shoes & work clothes
Tool expertise is not necessary, but would be a plus!
