The Houston ToolBank is excited to announce that on March 22nd, 2025, we will be hosting our annual Tools For Change. With the support of our sponsors, we plan to build 10 picnic tables and 20 garden beds for our community. We distribute our items to Title 1 schools or non-profits that are in need of outdoor space for their program.
Our event will be held at Spindletap Brewery, 10622 Hirsch Rd, Houston, TX 77016 from 9:30 am-3 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help support us during the event.
-Needs:
- event setup, starting at 9:30AM
- event teardown, from 3:00pm-4:30pm
- event support: selling raffle tickets, volunteer check-in, picnic table build support, kids build table support, support loading/unloading picnic tables, and other general needs.
We will have water and soft drinks available to all volunteers.
