A Work Day at Chain Reaction is a hands-on volunteer session where we repair and prep donated bicycles for people in our community.
We start by setting out tools, materials, and bikes, then jump into quick cleaning and minor repairs to get as many bikes rolling as possible. As the day goes on, volunteers can help with more in-depth repairs that take a little extra time. Once bikes are finished, they’re cleaned, stickered, tagged, and staged for later distribution.
We wrap up with a quick cleanup and head home knowing we made a real impact!
This Work Day:

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Plan for about 3–4 hours from start to finish.
No experience required — just a willingness to help!
