Volunteers will assist with planting and maintaining 14 raised garden beds that grow a variety of fruits and vegetables using organic practices. The garden supports our community pantry, with 98% of the harvest donated and 2% available for volunteers to take home.
Volunteers will help care for the garden year-round, including watering, weeding, harvesting, and protecting plants based on weather conditions. The pantry is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on the third and fourth Saturday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Currently, we have two volunteers who assist once a week and one volunteer who helps more frequently, and we are looking to expand our volunteer team. No prior gardening experience is required—just a willingness to help and learn!
