Along the MKT Trail in the Houston Heights
We’re looking for volunteers to help distribute mulch around 200 Shade Project trees along the MKT trail.
Volunteer tasks include:

Preparing tree bases for mulch
-
Wheelbarrowing mulch to trees
-
Spreading mulch evenly
-
Light watering
It’s moderately strenuous work, but deeply rewarding — and our trees (and the many walkers, runners, and cyclists who enjoy the trail) will thank you for it!
