Volunteer Position: Donor Relations Manager (Remote)
Reports to: Executive Director
Overview: Project C.U.R.E. is seeking a mission-driven, detail-oriented Donor Relations Manager to serve as a key volunteer supporting donor engagement and relationship development. This remote role works closely with the Executive Director to help build a strong donor pipeline, manage relationships, and coordinate communications that lead to long-term support of our life-saving mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track donor opportunities and relationship progress in the CRM system (donor database of record)
- Follow up with donors to thank them for their gifts via phone or handwritten notes
- Coordinate donor meetings by scheduling directly with the Executive Director and donor contacts
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and a professional and a love for creating meaningful relationships with donors and supporters of Project C.U.R.E.’s mission
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable navigating Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Fundraising and Engagement is a plus)
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Passionate about global health and humanitarian work
- Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations, or executive support is helpful but not required
Time Commitment: Flexible schedule with a preferred commitment of 4–6 hours per week. Some weekday availability is helpful for coordinating meetings and donor events. Although this position is primarily remote, we would ask that you come to our Spring Branch warehouse for initial training and then occasionally thereafter.
