The Grocer's Supply Food Show is a fun, wonderful, and enriching volunteer experience where you will gather food directly from donors' at the show!
At the close of show, vendors that have showcased their products will donate unused goods. As a volunteer, you will help gather, box and palletize these items, which include fresh produce, canned goods, bread, and more to be distributed throughout our community.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Volunteers should arrive at 9:00pm and enter through the NRG D Hall receiving dock.
- **Let Security know you are volunteering with the Houston Food Bank.**
- Although there will be food samples, we ask that the volunteers do not eat or drink anything. We will have water and snacks available.
- VOLUNTEERS MUST BE18 OR OLDER - PLEASE BRING YOUR PHOTO ID.
- Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes (required,) long pants (preferred) and t-shirts with sleeves (preferred.) Please do not bring any personal items such as bags, purses, and backpacks.
