Help support Hermann Park Conservancy by volunteering at the 20th Annual Run in the Park, powered by Reliant, on Saturday, October 21, 2023 with shifts available from 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
We are looking for individual volunteers or volunteer groups to help with our Run in the Park! No matter your skills we have a job for you! Volunteer tasks include manning the water station, setting up tables/tents for vendors, and directing runners/walkers along the route.
We need VOLUNTEERS to assist with:
Event Set-Up - 6:00 am - 9:30 am - Help with setting up tables, tents and preparing the start/finish line areas for an awesome fun run!
Wayfinders for 10K and 5K Run Routes and Water Station Volunteer Positions - 7:00 am - 11:00 am - Wayfinders are an incredibly important volunteer position that keeps runners on the correct route. Wayfinders are positioned with 2+ individuals in assigned locations along the race routes to help guide and cheer on participants.
1K Kids' Run and Event Teardown/Clean-up Volunteer Positions - 8:00 am - 11:30 am - Volunteers are stationed at pre-assigned locations along the 1K Kids' route to cheer on participants and direct the runners. After the 1K Kids' Run is completed, volunteers assist with cleaning up and breaking down the event set-up.
Cheer Groups, Dance Teams, Drumlines and Bands - We're looking for groups to help cheer participants as they start the run and as they cross the finish line. School cheer, dance or band groups are perfect to motivate our runners big or small!
The Run in the Park is always lively and dynamic day in the Park! Sign up to be a part of the excitement. Groups, individuals, adults and youth/teens are welcome to volunteer.
All Volunteers must be 13 years old or older (or Volunteer as a Family) and comfortable standing for an extended period of time.
Volunteers will receive specific instructions as well parking information once you signed up.
We will also be hosting a brief Zoom training or in-person training that is required for all EVENT DAY Volunteers.
