Welcome to FotoFest’s Spring 2014 season! FotoFest is an international non-profit arts and education organization. FotoFests’s 15th consecutive Biennial VIEW FROM INSIDE, Contemporary Arab Video, Photography and Mixed Media Art is March 15, 2014 – April 27, 2014. We are looking for volunteers to assist FotoFest staff at the Opening Night on March 15, 2014.

Hours: the volunteers are needed between the hours of 5:30pm and 12:30am
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, enthusiastic about the arts and reliable. It is not necessary to have an art or photography background. By volunteering, you will have the opportunity to learn about photography and meet others with similar interests.
Volunteer opportunities for the FotoFest 2014 Biennial Opening Night include:
- VIP check-in: check in VIP guests and monitor entrance to the VIP area.
There are two shifts for the night: 6:00pm – 8:30pm and 8:00pm – 10:30pm
2. Door Greeters: greet visitors and provide directions within the building.
There are two shifts for the night: 6:00pm – 8:30pm and 8:00pm – 10:30pm
3. Escorts for FotoFest’s Founders and the Lead Curator.
There is one shift for the night: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Please note that each volunteer is expected to bring and carry a working cell phone, as volunteer escorts may need to be contacted by FotoFest staff during the event.
4. Escorts for Artists.
There is one shift for the night: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
5. FotoFest Info Table: assist FotoFest staff member with t-shirts sales and information distribution.
There are two shifts for the night: 6:00pm – 9:00pm and 8:30pm – 11:00pm
All volunteers are expected to report to the volunteer check-in room for their shift 30 minutes prior to the start of the shift for short orientation and training. There will be snacks and beverages.
