Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required. Must have the ability to effectively prepare and present information and services on BPSOS – HAPP team to various groups. Must present self in a professional manner. Respect and maintain the confidentiality of the organization and its volunteers, partners, and donors. Must apply and/or resume the complete interview, maintain strict standards of confidentiality, have access to a computer, email, internet, and phone, have reliable transportation, and be punctual before volunteering in the community unsupervised. Bilingual Vietnamese is preferred, but not required.

BPSOS Services that will be assisting with:
- At the 2nd Tuesday clinic, the responsibilities include light physical demands with transporting, setting up, and taking down outreach materials, banners, and tables. Must be present at the table assigned to and follow instructions independently under guidelines.
- At the Cancer program, the responsibilities include following up, calling, and distributing flyers to recruit individuals who need pap smears and mammogram appointments. Clerical work with data entry.
- In the senior program, the responsibilities include completing tasks assigned, and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- At the ACA program, the responsibilities include client follow-up phone calls, basic computer skills, and data entry.
