Description

The AIP BIPOC Network is seeking a volunteer to set up and organize our Google Drive using our internal Google Drive Guide. You’ll create a consistent folder structure, move documents into the right places, and apply simple best practices so our team can find and manage files efficiently. Your work directly supports our mission to improve the quality of life of the BIPOC Autoimmune Community through Awareness, Advocacy, Action, Assessment, and Alignment.


Tasks:

  • Set up Level 1 and Level 2 folders according to ABN’s Google Drive Guide

  • Apply consistent naming conventions for folders and files

  • Upload and organize existing documents into the proper folders

  • Establish permissions and access controls (Editor, Commenter, Viewer) per guide

  • Create Archive subfolders and implement version control processes

  • Provide a brief walkthrough to staff/board on how to navigate the new system


Time Commitment:

  • 10–15 hours total (one-time project, could be spread over 2–3 weeks)

  • Flexible schedule, can be done remotely


Skills Needed:

  • Familiarity with Google Drive folder structures, permissions, and version control

  • Attention to detail and consistency in organizing files

  • Organized and systematic approach to file management
