The NGO Justice and Dignity for the Women of Sahel (JDWS) is a non-profit organization of reflection and initiatives whose main goal is a merciless fight against physical and psychological violence against women and girls in the world and particularly in the Sahel. The NGO (JDWS) owes its origin to a Malian woman who lived in Mali and the Sahel during the difficult periods of armed conflict where she witnessed various types of violence against women and girls. With her team and her partners, she intends to help break silences and lift taboos to better inform about gender-based violence, in order to assist her sisters around the world to loudly denounce their ills.
Role Description:
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing department. If you are an ambitious individual interested in building a career in social media and content marketing, then we want to work with you. Your work will include preparing promotional presentations, monitoring social platforms, and conducting market analysis.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
- Assist with daily administrative duties.
- Design and present new social media campaign ideas.
- Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
- Prepare detailed promotional presentations.
- Help with the planning, promotion and hosting of marketing events.
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
- Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
- Assist with the implementation of the Strategic Development plan for communications, including newsletters (internal, external).
- Track, format and archive all data.
- Assist in Fundraising campaigns
- Additional tasks as assigned.
- Bilingual French/English Preferred not required.
