Event Volunteers- If you enjoy working with the public or working behind the scenes, we could use you especially around the holidays. The City and Downtown District will be hosting Winter Wanderland on Bagby Street which is a lighting extravaganza for the grand re-opening of Bagby Street from 5:30 PM - 9 PM, on Friday, on November 19. We need help setting up an event, breaking down the event, monitoring the parking lot area, covering the check-in and check-out table, feeding volunteers, making sure the grounds and facilities are clean prior, during and after the event, and assisting guests such as vendors and re-enactors find their spots. We will have a Zoom meeting with all volunteers the week of the event. Fill out the Volunteer Application and send it to Accounting@heritagesociety.org.
