Duties of the Chair.The Chair of the Board of Trustees shall manage and provide leadership to the Board of Trustees of the Corporation. The Chair is accountable to the Board of Trustees and acts as a direct liaison between the Board of Trustees and management of the Corporation, through the Founder/President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Corporation.
Qualities that we'd like to see in our new Board Chair:
- Strong passion for the homeless
- We are a Faith-Based organization, therefore the candidate must be a person of faith
- Must have non-profit experience, preferably as a former Board Chair, however exceptional experience as a Board Member will be considered
- High emotional intelligence
- Strong, motivated personality
- Visionary, big picture.
- Exceptional communicator
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
