Join us for this joint volunteer event between Houston Wilderness and Black United Fund of Texas to prepare a tree site for the upcoming winter months. We’ll doing some weeding, pull up roots, and lay down new layers of mulch for the trees.
We’re hoping to get at least 50 volunteers for this event! Please join us for a fun & fulfilling morning out in nature!
All are welcome! Families, friends and co-workers are encouraged to come out for this work day to beautify and prepare our Houston trees.
Attire: Comfortable and breathable outdoor clothing, closed toed shoes, and bring work gloves if you have some. We’ll have extra gloves as needed!
Also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
