Ushers are responsible for the seating and the safety of guests at all performances and events, including, but not limited to: The Theater (seating capacity of 750); The Grand Foyer (seating capacity of 40); The Film/Viewing Room (seating capacity 75) and other venues and spaces as directed.
Ushers are considered Front of House staff and are expected to offer the highest level of customer service possible to guests, donors, visiting artists, artist management, patrons, and any other member of the public or administration they may encounter. They are critical to ensuring a “white glove” guest experience at every event.
Ushers also serve as security monitors who report safety/security concerns to organizational leadership.
