The 2nd Ward Super Neighborhood is looking for volunteers to assist for their upcoming Second Ward Community Block Party event. The event will take place on Friday September 22, 2023. Volunteer waiver form will be provided onsite the day of the event by the 2nd Ward Super Neighborhood. Where: Green Space at Baker Ripley in Second Ward, 1414 Navigation Blvd., Houston, Texas 77011
Why: Volunteers will help set a positive tone and create an energetic environment for this community event through one of the following assignments:
- General Volunteer: Assist with tasks as needed for the event.
- Event Setup: Assist the team prior to the start of the event with setup of tables and chairs.

the event - Event Greeters: Assist with directing attendees/vendors to the registration table. Verify
contact information for vendors/attendees. - Children’s Area: Assist with the setup of children’s games in the children’s area.
