District K will conduct our annual canvassing of the automotive and tire shops in the District in effort to educate these businesses on the environmental compliance. Volunteers needed to help distribute the HPD’s Environmental Investigation Unit Illegal Dumping brochure to build/rebuild awareness and to deter the illegal dumping of tires. Waivers will be provided to volunteers on the day of the event.
District K plans to conduct the canvassing Thursday, March 9, 23 2023, beginning at 9:00 AM, and are expected to be complete by 4:00 PM. We will meet at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center, 3810 West Fuqua, Houston, TX 77045.
