The interviewer helps maintain an organized, respectful, and confidential service environment while providing compassionate, trauma-informed support. This position directly supports Operation ID’s mission to reduce barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, and other essential services.


Conduct face-to-face client interviews during Operation ID service days.Help spanish-speaking clients navigate identification document processes, including Texas IDs, driver’s licenses, birth certificates, and supporting records.Review referrals, applications, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.Provide clear, respectful, trauma-informed guidance to clients experiencing barriers such as homelessness or instability.Maintain accurate intake records, case notes, tracking forms, and client information in Apricot or similar systems.Support organized client flow, service-day operations, shift transitions, and communication with volunteers and staff.Prepare documentation packets, check requests, and completed applications for submission.Protect client confidentiality while maintaining a professional, welcoming, and client-centered service environment.
