The No Excuses Pro League (NEPL), Houston's premier summer Pro Am basketball league, is seeking organized and dependable volunteers to assist with player registration, roster management, uniform distribution, and team check in throughout the 2026 Summer Season.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring players, coaches, and teams are properly registered, equipped, and informed before each game. Volunteers will work closely with league staff, coaches, and athletes to maintain accurate records and support smooth game day operations.

Responsibilities

• Check players, coaches, and team personnel in before games

• Distribute and collect player uniforms before and after each game

• Distribute and collect coach shirts before and after each game

• Update player rosters and team information using league computer systems • Verify player eligibility and roster accuracy

• Assist with waiver collection and league documentation

• Review league policies, procedures, and rules with players and coaches as needed

• Track uniform inventory and report missing or damaged items

• Assist league staff with administrative and game day operations

• Maintain accurate records and communicate updates to league management Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Comfortable using computers and entering data accurately

• Detail oriented and dependable

• Ability to work in a fast paced sports environment

• Professional and friendly demeanor

• Previous sports, event, administrative, or customer service experience is helpful but not required

The No Excuses Pro League (NEPL) Summer Season runs from June 14, 2026 through August 15, 2026 at Fonde Recreation Center, 110 Sabine Street, Houston, TX 77007.

Game Days:

• Friday: 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM

• Saturday: 2:15 PM to 7:40 PM

• Sunday: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

*Volunteers may choose shifts based on availability and are not required to work every game day.
