Volunteer: Exploration Green Spring Cleanup

Join SPLASh, Exploration Green, and H-E-B Our Texas Our Future on March 7 for our Spring Cleanup at Exploration Green from 9am-11am! Choose from two cleanup locations below. We will meet at Bluebird Pond for sign in and supply handout. We will use emails in registration to contact volunteers. Please sign up individually if you'd like to receive communications for the event.

Bluebird Pond Parking & Meeting Location: 16315 Diana Lane Houston, TX

Sunflower Pond Parking: 1296 El Dorado Lane Houston, TX (limited parking in lot, street parking available)

Waivers

All volunteers are required to sign waivers. Click HERE to sign our digital waivers for yourself and any children participating with you. 

Supplies

We will provide trash bags, grabbers, water refills, first aid supplies at Bluebird Pond. You will be responsible for dressing appropriately, wearing close-toed shoes, bringing a reusable water bottle, and any additional supplies you may need to keep you safe during the cleanup.

We’re showing this site some love, removing trash and preventing birds from getting entangled in fishing line or ingesting plastics. This is a high needs location that accumulates large amounts of trash and hundreds of wintering birds utilize to rest and feed. We need your help to support our birds and coastal habitat!
