Volunteer: Career Mentors NeededThe majority of iEducate´s college students are not studying to become teachers and are planning on entering a variety of different careers after they graduate. But while they are in college, they are giving back to the community by helping to close achievement gaps and inspire 3rd – 5th grade students in underserved schools. To help these students, many of whom are first-generation college students, iEducate is looking for 20 career mentors to help them navigate their industry, lean more about skills needed in their profession, and advise them as needed to help them be successful. To facilitate the mentorship, iEducate will be hosting an event in March to match our students with career mentors on specific career paths. During this reception, you and the college students will have a chance to chat to see if there is a good connection and then develop the mentor/mentee relationship after that. Your mentorship will help provide business perspective and industry insight to these highly talented and community minded college students. The students you mentor could be some of your best future recruits! Thank you for your support!
