In need of a Marketing Manager to help with our marketing strategies, social media postings (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and creating flyers and brochures for activities, and workshops. Looking for someone willing to commit to the time they are able to do. We are lookin for 5 - 10 hours per week. 

In need of a Fundraising Manager to help with our fundraising strategies. Looking for someone willing to commit to the time they are able to do. We are lookin for 5 - 10 hours per week. Our organization is in its early stages and we are in dire need of help to do some mini fundraising coordination to help the founder with the necessary overhead costs of our programs. 

We are looking for an intern who loves animals and has a social media account. Our social media intern would focus on social media campaigns and strategy and must have skill using instagram.

Needs:
- taking videos of your own animals or using videos from fosters, rescues, and other volunteers
- creating cute videos inside instagram or facebook for social media posting
- creating collaborative posts with partner animal rescues
- create and manage a new tik tok account maybe
- get approval on new ideas and run with them
- repost from other nonprofit animal accounts
- create 3 new posts per week and schedule the reels
- share a story on instagram/fb daily
- set up a social media strategy
- tasks from the google sheet list

Volunteers can choose to do one or more of the below.

In person:
- volunteer at animal events like the doodle romp on 3/29
- walk dogs at partner shelters
- take photos/videos of foster dogs for their adoption posts
- hang flyers in approved retail locations

Remote tasks, including but not limited to
- collaborate with partner rescues
- check meowpups.org for mistakes
- create social media posts
- share videos of your pets with the social media intern
- create flyers
- spreading the word
- reposting, commenting, liking social media posts
- help with event planning
- help with volunteer coordination 
- contact vet offices
- provide opinions on new campaigns and products

We are looking for an intern 18 and older who loves animals and is very comfortable talking to new people on the phone, composing very professional emails, and possibly messaging on social media.

Our partnerships coordinator would focus on reaching out to new and existing nonprofit partners and working with event volunteers  

- reach out to existing and new nonprofit partners 

- create flyers to showcase our partnerships

- reach out to businesses like vets and groomers via phone and email 

- maybe messaging on social media, but not required

The public relations volunteer intern will be responsible for the following: 
- 50% Media Relations: Building and maintaining media lists, drafting press releases, and pitching stories to journalists
- 25% Content Creation: Developing content for social media platforms, blog posts, and newsletters and assist the Social Media Intern
- 25% Events & Administration: Assisting with the planning of announcements, product releases and events with our partner nonprofit animal rescues. Develop a PR strategy and schedule. 

Must have access to google sheets

Typically, PR interns are juniors, seniors, or recent graduates with strong written communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

Professionals looking for work continuity between roles or to gain hours in a different field are more than welcome to apply for this need.

In need of a Community Program Specialist to help with facilitating our community programs. Looking for someone willing to commit to the time they are able to do. We are lookin for 5 - 10 hours per week. Our organization is expanding and we are in dire need of help. Our programs include Maternal Wellness Circle, Motherhood Canvas, and our soon to launch our Teen mom program. The programs are held in multiple locations across the greater Houston area and volunteer must be willing to travel to the location of choice to facilitate the programs. You will receive the necessary training and materials. This is for someone who loves to teach, and care about people's wellbeing. 

In need of a Resource Navigator to help build our resource database. Looking for someone willing to commit to the time they are able to do. We are lookin for 5-10 hours per week. Our organization is in its early stages and we are in dire need of help to compile a list of the available free or subsidized resources in Houston in one Database. This database will be used to navigate our clients towards the necessary community resources if requested.  Must be friendly, empathetic, have a computer/laptop, and great communicator as this volunteer will interact with clients.

WIN is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering families of children with disabilities by providing personalized resources, advocacy tools, and support. As an ESL Tutor, you will have the important task of instructing students who are non-native English speakers in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.

You will be paired with one student and meet with them every week. Your role will be instrumental in helping these students enhance their English language skills, improve their communication abilities, and achieve their language proficiency goals.

We need a volunteer, who speaks Rohingya, and can tutor two students in-person once a week.

Are you someone who feels called to encourage others through prayer?

As a Prayer Warrior, you’ll receive meaningful prayer requests connected to WorkFaith and have the opportunity to lift up our clients, staff, and mission in a powerful way. You’ll also be invited to join a Zoom prayer gathering led by our Prayer Warrior Lead, where we come together in community to pray with purpose and intention.

This opportunity takes place twice a month on Thursday for about 15-30 minutes. Once you sign up, the Prayer Warrior Lead will reach out via email to invite you to the next prayer meeting that is held over Zoom.

We are lookin for 5-10 hours per week. Our organization is in its early stages and we are in dire need of help. Must be friendly, empathetic, have a computer/laptop, and great communicator as this volunteer will interact with other volunteers often.

In need of an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a startup non-profit in its early stage, to include but not limited to overseeing HR, Programs & Services, Administration and Development. Looking for someone willing to commit to the time they are able to do. We are looking for 10 to 15 hours per week minimum. Our organization is in its early stages and we are in dire need of help. Must be friendly, empathetic, have a computer/laptop, and great communicator. This role is for someone with time flexibility that is willing to donate their time towards a great initiative. Will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure smooth operations and to help take our organization to the next level. 

In need of an Grant Specialist to oversee help with grant research and application submission. Looking for someone willing to commit to the time they are able to do. We are looking for 5-10 hours per week minimum. Our organization is in its early stages and we are in dire need of help. Must be friendly, empathetic, have a computer/laptop, and great communicator.

As a grassroots nonprofit we are looking for someone to assist with building a better online presence through social media. Currently looking to partner and develop 1-2 quality posts a week for the org on our Instagram page.
