Bloom leads adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to a lifetime of community-driven health and wellness. We offer in-person classes at partnership locations and virtual classes through our fitness app. Classes include strength, dance, yoga, Pilates, indoor cycle, and chair fitness. Bloom is always looking for volunteers to teach or help facilitate a class.  

Please note that to facilitate a class (in partnership with a live or virtual coach), no fitness instruction experience is needed. Bloom provides the training. The only requirement to enjoy this position are a desire to commit to the athletes over time. 

To teach a yoga or Pilates class, volunteers must be certified. To teach any other class, fitness experience is preferred.

Utilize WordPress plugins and tools to enhance the site's features and performance, making recommendations for additional tools as needed. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to serve as a Volunteer Grant Writer for the Katherine and Everett Robinson Foundation. The Grant Writer will play a vital role in securing funding to support our programs and initiatives aimed at positively impacting the lives of youth and families in our community.

Responsibilities:

Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and creative Volunteer Online Presence Coordinator to help us grow and manage our digital presence. This includes improving and maintaining our website, establishing and curating our social media platforms, and helping us tell our story online in a way that inspires support and engagement. Your work will play a key role in expanding our reach and strengthening our community impact.

Responsibilities:

Redesign or update the organization’s website for clarity, accessibility, and visual appeal.

Create and implement a content calendar for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

Design graphics and write copy to promote programs, events, and impact stories.

Track engagement metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

Collaborate with the team to align messaging with the organization's goals and values.

Recommend and implement tools or platforms to increase our digital reach and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).

Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite).

Strong sense of branding, storytelling, and audience engagement.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Passion for education, youth empowerment, and community development.

Join us as a Celebration Champion and make a lasting impact in just 30 minutes! This role allows you to support and encourage our JSA class clients during their live graduation ceremony. Many of our clients may not have a cheering section, and your presence will bring joy, motivation, and recognition to their incredible achievement.

Your role includes applauding their success, listening to their inspiring stories, and sharing words of encouragement or scripture to uplift them as they step into their next chapter. Together, we’ll create a meaningful experience that fills them with hope and confidence.
