Includes campus meetings, company tours and internships. Mentors must be at least 21 years old. Meetings are held at a high school in downtown Houston every Monday from 1:45pm-2:30pm. Mentors are NOT required to be at every meeting but are encouraged to attend as often as their schedule allows. We also encourage checking in with mentees via email or texts. She saw the lack of opportunities available to her students following high school and the anxiety it caused her and their families. With the help of one of her former students, she created an educational and exciting day program in Deer Park, Next Step Transition Center.
