We’re seeking a creative volunteer to create short highlight reels from past and current events for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Using our provided photos and video clips, you’ll produce visually appealing recaps that showcase our mission: to improve the quality of life of the BIPOC Autoimmune Community through Awareness, Advocacy, Action, Assessment, and Alignment.

Tasks:

Select and edit photos or video clips into 30–90 second recap videos Add simple text overlays, captions, or transitions Format videos for social media platforms (vertical, square) Deliver final files for posting

Time Commitment:

1 hour per video project (may vary) One-time or occasional projects Flexible schedule, can be done remotely

Skills Needed:

You’ll compile a list of potential funders and deadlines, giving us more time to focus on writing strong applications.

Tasks:

Search for grants from foundations, corporations, and government sources Review eligibility criteria to ensure alignment with our mission Compile opportunities in a simple spreadsheet with deadlines and key details Share links and application instructions for each opportunity

We’re seeking an outgoing, organized volunteer to reach out to local businesses, organizations, and community members to secure sponsorships and in-kind donations for events and programs. Tasks:

Research potential sponsors and in-kind donors in the community Send outreach emails or make phone calls using provided templates Track contacts, responses, and commitments in a spreadsheet or Airtable Coordinate with lead to ensure follow-up and recognition of sponsors/donors

The AIP BIPOC Network is seeking a licensed attorney volunteer to provide legal guidance that strengthens our nonprofit foundation. Your expertise will help ensure our contracts, policies, and governance documents are sound, so we can focus on advancing our mission to improve the quality of life of the BIPOC Autoimmune Community through Awareness, Advocacy, Action, Assessment, and Alignment.

Tasks:

Review contracts, MOUs, and partnership agreements

Advise on bylaws, board policies, and volunteer/HR agreements

Provide guidance on compliance and risk management

Assist with intellectual property protections (trademarks, copyrights)

Time Commitment:

Approx. 2–4 hours per month (may vary by project)

Flexible schedule, remote with virtual check-ins

Skills & Requirements:

Licensed attorney in good standing (active or retired)

Familiarity with nonprofit law preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate legal concepts clearly

The AIP BIPOC Network is seeking a law student volunteer to assist with legal research and nonprofit policy development. This role offers practical experience in nonprofit and public interest law while supporting our mission to improve the quality of life of the BIPOC Autoimmune Community through Awareness, Advocacy, Action, Assessment, and Alignment.

Tasks:

Research nonprofit governance and compliance requirements

Assist in drafting or updating bylaws, board policies, and volunteer/HR agreements

Prepare plain-language summaries of legal standards or best practices

Support attorney review by preparing draft documents and issue briefs

Time Commitment:

Approx. 4–6 hours per month

Flexible schedule, remote with virtual check-ins

Skills & Requirements:

Current law student (1L–3L) or recent graduate

Strong legal research and writing skills

Interest in nonprofit or public interest law

You’ll help staff our table, share information about our programs, take photos, and engage with community members. Tasks:

Staff ABN’s booth/table at community events

Share information and resources with attendees

Take event photos for social media and reports

Assist with setup and cleanup as needed

Engage community members in a welcoming, approachable way

Time Commitment:

Varies by event (typically 2–4 hours per event)

You’ll help with logistics, vendor coordination, and event prep so that everything runs smoothly. Tasks:

Assist with event planning checklists and timelines

Communicate with vendors, exhibitors, and community partners

Help organize event materials (program guides, signage, supply lists)

Support tracking of budgets, deposits, and contracts

Provide input on community engagement activities

Time Commitment:

4–6 hours per month leading up to the event (increasing closer to event date)

Provide input on engagement strategies for participants
