Needs From: Volunteer Houston

Volunteer: Event Volunteer (10/12, 10/18)

Event Volunteers will assist FANHS Houston board members in engaging with the community and sharing information about our Community Needs Survey. Volunteers will help community members complete the survey and answer basic questions about our organization’s mission.

Additional duties include:

-Assisting with event check-in through the Zeffy platform
-Supporting inventory handling and management (e.g., shirts, materials, giveaways)
-Helping maintain an organized and welcoming event space
-Providing general support to ensure a smooth and positive community experience

-Educating the community about FANHS's community mission 

Volunteers play a key role in helping us connect with the community and collect valuable feedback that guides our future programs and events.


Volunteers will receive :

-FREE admission to the
FYP Houston Filipino Street Festival on 10/18*
-1 free FANHS Nasa style volunteer shirt
-$20 stipend on 10/18*
-Certificate verifying volunteer hours
-A special volunteer celebration in November!
